Secondhand Hope is a very special program created by the animal welfare organization, Secondhand Hounds (SHH). It brings together companion animals and their owners/volunteers with individuals who may not always have the chance to see and visit with pets.

Loss of a pet is difficult for most of us. There is a gap created in your heart that may never be filled, particularly if there was a special bond. There are all varieties of memorials that can be created to honor our pets, but one brings comfort in a different way.
