The Ottawa Humane Society is on a mission to get 150 of the animals residing at their shelter adopted out to excellent forever homes. They got together with a local photographer and a special Star Wars costuming organization to take some pictures of the available animals.

A vet tech working at the Mercy Animal Clinic in Garland, Texas came across a female pit bull that was hanging out on the side of a road. After stopping for a closer inspection, the dog was found to be nursing a two-day-old kitten she had found.
