From the Speranza Animal Rescue in Pennsylvania:

I got a call this morning regarding a stray dog in Harrisburg. She was seen sleeping on a lady’s front porch.

By the time I got there she had left… I decided to drive around for a few minutes and that’s when I spotted her – eating out of a pile of trash.

Okay, so not that far… it depends on how close you are to the Philly area!

Earlier today we shared with you the viral video of Princess Leia, the binkie-biting boxer.  Now we have for you some exceptionally adorable photos of her and her big brother, Luke.  They love snuggling, posing, and generally hamming it up for the camera!

Any time you get out of your car on a high-speed road, you’re putting your life at risk.  But for some, the risk is well worth it when an animal is in urgent need of rescue.  That was the case for Rodrigo González, who gladly stopped to help an injured dog that otherwise would have died.

Juan Tarquino’s world came crashing down on the night of November 18, 2014, when his dog Piaf, a female black Labrador mix, broke loose from her leash and collar and ran off into the streets. After getting hit by a car, the pet fled and got lost. The dog’s whereabouts were unknown for five months, but on April 7, 2015, Piaf and Tarquino met once again. Their reunion was unbelievably emotional.
