A stray puppy from Puerto Rico had no idea that after getting rescued off the streets of the tropical island and moving to the Big Apple, people would be wondering who was cutter, him or his model dad?

Meet Rincon, a former stray dog from Puerto Rico that hit the jackpot when male model Jules Schratter decided to rescue him and make the dog a family member.

Jason and Tiffany Huston from Goshen, Ind., are trying to get back Prance, their Shih Tzu, after a neighbor sold the dog online. However, police say there is little they can do to help the Hustons because the online transaction was made legally and no laws were broken.

Prance became a member of the Huston family three-and-a-half years ago when the couple got married and decided to get a pet. The family moved to a mobile home community in Goshen, Ind., but Prance got lost last month while the couple was away and the dog was left with a family member.

On September 29, 2014, a small black-and-white terrier dog was found roaming the parking lot of a police station in Brighton, Mich. After the pet hitchhiked a ride in a police car, the lucky pooch found its way home.

Last month, many neighborhoods in Nogales, Ariz., flooded and the rising waters forced area residents to evacuate leaving everything behind. Thirteen-year-old Manuel Andres Sierra couldn’t leave without rescuing Bones, a six-year-old Pit Bull.

Some might say that Bones is not the most friendly dog, but to Sierra, the pet is his companion, friend and protector.

A stray dog in India was crossing some tracks when the rails shifted and trapped him.  His legs were severed by a train, and he would have succumbed to exsanguination or infection had it not been for the amazing folks at Animal Aid Unlimited, who got him the care he needed.
