These 27 dogs and cats simply adore the youngest members of their family… okay, well, in some of the photos, more of the love is coming from the kids… but there’s plenty of love all around!

The recent torrential rains across the United States Midwest and East Coast have flooded many areas, costing area residents thousands of dollars in water damage, and forcing them to evacuate their homes. In Hazel Park, Mich., Riley, a one-year-old Pomeranian beagle, was created in the basement and almost lost his life when flood water levels rose, almost submerging his crate. Fortunately for the pup, his owner got home just in time to save him from drowning.

Occy the dog and Biggie the duck don’t care if they are different – they do everything together.  They eat grass, swim, wrestle, and nap with each other.  It actually seems that Biggie thinks he is a dog!

When Bear, a griffin/German spitz cross puppy, got lost two weeks ago, his owner, 9-year old Noel Wogan from Whangarei, New Zealand, was devastated. The puppy had been a gift from his mother, Donelle, who died this past May from a rare illness. Luckily, Wogan’s family and community came together to find the missing dog and reunite him with his young owner.
