A pet owner learned the hard way he should never leave his pet unattended inside his vehicle. The man forgot where he parked and spent two days frantically searching for his car and his four-legged best friend.

Fisherman Javier Gonzales from A Coruña, Spain, loves his six-year-old boxer named Chiqui. He’s had her since she was just 8-weeks-old. The dog goes with him everywhere, even on fishing trips, but on New Year’s Eve instead of leaving Chiqui home alone while he welcomed the new year, Gonzales headed to a New Year’s celebration and left the pet in the car.

On January 11, 2015, a small dog from Mexico City was found injured on the side of the highway. The pet had been hit by a vehicle and thanks to a concerned motorist who reported the injured dog, animal control officers (SSPDF) rushed to rescue the pet.

A concerned animal lover took to social media to ask for help. The social media user wanted an abused and injured dog rescued from an abusive situation. The image posted showed a dog tied with a leash so short, the pet couldn’t even sit. What’s worse, the dog had a laceration on his neck caused. Fortunately, 24 hours after the image was posted, representatives from an animal organization, showed up at the house, armed with a court order.
