A young child was walking his playful dog when the canine fell into a brushy wood retainer wall pulling the child with him. After 14 hours both were found unharmed.
At the Goin’ Postal shipment center in Centralia, Washington everyone’s favorite employee has four legs. Molly, a blind black lab, helps out at the store. She interacts with customers and helping to deliver their packages.
Last week a Chihuahua-mix puppy was rescued from a trash can outside an apartment complex in Michigan. The 8-wek-old puppy is now recovering and will soon be ready for adoption.
“For us to come to work and to save the dog first of all, and then to have the whole animal lover community band together to try to save one dog - it’s refreshing and it’s heartwarming - and we don’t see that everyday,” officer Metcalfe said.
“I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and to find the cutest family of strays ever here at the Olympics was just a fairy tale way to have it go down,” Gus Kenworthy said.
