A Kentucky man jumped into a frozen pond to saved a dog who was struggling to stay alive in the freezing water. The Good Samaritan later realized the dog he saved had been abused as well.
Cici the stray was first spotted by her rescuer in 2011 and thought the dog belong to someone, but after spotting the dog every day, her rescuer realized the pet belonged to no one.
A Doberman mix originally from Texas, was on her way to Wisconsin when it got spooked at a Chicago airport and ran away. Luckily, the dog was found six days later.
“I purposely wanted a dog that nobody else wanted,” said Sister Veronica Mendez. “I wanted to bring a dog home that might get euthanized if we didn't take her.”

Chase was out on a walk with his owner Saturday when the woman collapsed in the snow. Chase stayed by the woman's side and desperately barked for barked for 30 hours until someone finally came to help. Unfortunately it was too late for the woman and now Chase needs a new home.
