Emaciated Puppy Pulls Through After Being on Death’s Door

On October 30, 2014, South Suburban Humane Society (SSHS) in Chicago Height, Ill., came to the aid of a three-month-old, hound mix puppy found abandoned in a milk crate. The dog weighed 9 pounds when he should have weighed close to 25 pounds. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, the almost dead dog is alive and recovering today.

Eldad Hagar and Hope for Paws Do It Again

This is the touching story of the great folks at Hope for Paws and their rescue of two dogs that had been living in a junkyard.  The pair were homeless, and in need of some love.  The female was very fearful of humans, so they had to gain her trust first.  Using their trademark gentle touch, and a bit of good old fashioned food-bribery, these two were brought in from the cold, and are looking for that forever home.  ONce again, great job guys!
