Dog Rescued from Garbage after Surviving Dog Attack

On August 18, 2014, Tim Clifton, director of Animal Control in Clarksville, Tenn., rescued a tiny dog dumped in a garbage container. At first Clifton couldn’t identify the dog’s breed because the Yorkshire terrier was covered in blood, grease and trash. Nevertheless, the small pet was rushed to a vet clinic where his life was saved.

Knowing that if left behind the dog would get euthanized, the Minnetonka, Minn., animal rescue group decided to bring him back home, help him heal, and give him a second chance at life.

Dog with Three Broken Legs Learns to Walk Again

When Chance, an American Staffordshire terrier, was rescued back on April 4, 2014, he was a broken dog. He was just 13-weeks-old and his previous owner tossed him from a moving vehicle while driving down Michigan Ave. in Cocoa, Fla. The puppy was skin and bones, and on top of his malnourished state he was now left with three broken legs.

Saving Jasper in the Nick of Time

Jasper, a sweet male dog suffering from bleeding wounds all over his body and face, was saved just a few days ago by Providing for Paws (PFP), an animal rescue organization based in Garden City, Mich. Initially, it was believed the dog’s injuries were from an extreme case of scabies mange, however, a veterinarian concluded the pet’s wounds are the result of a chemical burn.
