For eight weeks, the Falk family from New York city’s West Village neighborhood searched for Moey, their poodle-Bichon-Shih-Tzu mix, stolen on June, 25, 2014. The pet owners plastered the neighborhood with over 400 “Lost Dog” flyers, searched the area, reported the theft to police, checked area shelters and followed up on fictitious leads, but nothing they did brought them closer to finding their pet. Finally, after almost 2 months of searching, their beloved dog was found.

For the most part, the dog shaming craze is over.  Some of you may not be fans of it at all, and should probably just skip this one.  But for the rest of us, these are dogs who just happen to be sitting next to pieces of paper with absolutely hilarious confessions on them!

When volunteers from Secondhand Hounds met Coen at a Kansas, Mo., shelter on August 10, 2014, they couldn’t believe how badly injured this dog was. Knowing that if left behind the dog would get euthanized, the Minnetonka, Minn., animal rescue group decided to bring him back home, help him heal, and give him a second chance at life.

If you’ve ever been in an attic on a hot summer day, you know how unbearable it can be. Imagine what it must have felt like for four tiny puppies left in an abandoned home in Detroit.

With no mother in sight, it’s a mystery how these pups got into this predicament and how they were still alive. Thankfully, someone heard them and called the Michigan Humane Society.
