A Message to All from Hope for Paws

With the colder weather coming for most of us here in the United States, and many other places abroad, the time to remember our furry friends is here more than ever.  There are so many abandoned dogs out there, tired of life on the streets with no food and shelter.  Remember folks, they rely on us just as much as we rely on them.  They give us so much, and expect nothing but love in return.  If you can, please contact your local animal shelters, and see if there isn’t some way you can help.

Shelter Dogs Find Forever Homes Thanks to Juvenile Detention Program

There are many prisons across the nation with rehabilitation programs were inmates help train and rehabilitate homeless dogs,  in Georgia, the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is giving teens and homeless dogs a second chance to change their lives.

Eldad Hagar and Hope for Paws Do It Again

This is the touching story of the great folks at Hope for Paws and their rescue of two dogs that had been living in a junkyard.  The pair were homeless, and in need of some love.  The female was very fearful of humans, so they had to gain her trust first.  Using their trademark gentle touch, and a bit of good old fashioned food-bribery, these two were brought in from the cold, and are looking for that forever home.  ONce again, great job guys!

Dog Abandoned After Fire Just Wants a Forever Home

Popeye is a pit bull mix.  His family abandoned him after they had a house fire, and he wound up on his own.  Thanks to the wonderful people at It’s the Pits and the great folks over at Hope for Paws, Popeye is no longer on the streets and on his way to finding that family that will love him forever.
