Laura Williams is a massive dog lover, so when she saw a stray wandering around in her Raleigh, North Carolina neighborhood, she knew she had to act.

“He was looking all lethargic and out of it and not really too well,” Laura told WBTW. “He let me put a collar and a leash on him, and he jumped into my car.”

“I actually didn’t expect her to remember me, so that was on the back of my mind,” said Gutierrez. “But she did.”

This past Sunday, a rather severe tornadoes hit the town of Van, Texas.  As usual, it brought a path of devastation along with it, upending many homes and taking it’s toll on the residents.  However for one resident, things are starting to look up now that Tater is back.

On April 25, 2015, Lon Benner from Tacoma, Wash., discovered a trash bag with a Pit bull mother and her 11 puppies in it. Sadly, all but two puppies survived, now police investigators are asking the community to step up, bring justice to these animals and help them apprehend the criminal(s) who killed the puppies’ mom and their nine siblings.
