This girl has spent six long, cold, lonely years on a chain in her fenced-in yard.  A fenced yard, and she was still chained up!  But Robert Misseri and the rest of the Guardians of Rescue crew made sure she had a warm bed tonight, and she definitely thanked them!

Brian’s story begins with him being dropped off at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter in California.  When Leave No Paws Behind found out about him, they knew they had a real special case on their hands.

Scared, sick and severely underweight, Brian looked more like a skeleton than a dog.  He was taken in by Leave No Paws Behind, and they brought him to Dr. Mark Hohne at the East Valley Veterinary Clinic.

With the colder weather coming for most of us here in the United States, and many other places abroad, the time to remember our furry friends is here more than ever.  There are so many abandoned dogs out there, tired of life on the streets with no food and shelter.  Remember folks, they rely on us just as much as we rely on them.  They give us so much, and expect nothing but love in return.  If you can, please contact your local animal shelters, and see if there isn’t some way you can help.

This is the touching story of the great folks at Hope for Paws and their rescue of two dogs that had been living in a junkyard.  The pair were homeless, and in need of some love.  The female was very fearful of humans, so they had to gain her trust first.  Using their trademark gentle touch, and a bit of good old fashioned food-bribery, these two were brought in from the cold, and are looking for that forever home.  ONce again, great job guys!

On November 1, 2014, drivers in Pereira, Colombia, stopped a woman from intentionally killing her dog after the woman tied her pet to the back of her car and planned to drag him to death.

Popeye is a pit bull mix.  His family abandoned him after they had a house fire, and he wound up on his own.  Thanks to the wonderful people at It’s the Pits and the great folks over at Hope for Paws, Popeye is no longer on the streets and on his way to finding that family that will love him forever.
